Here's a pic of the in-studio swamp set we built for the DON'T FEED THE BEARS PSA we're producing. It includes over 100 gallons of real water, moss shipped in from Louisiana and animatronic butterflies and dragonflies!

NIGHTMARES AND DREAMSCAPES: BATTLEGROUND

We were very fortunate to be contacted by Brian Henson to design and create the toy soldier make-up effects for
the BATTLEGROUND episode of NIGHTMARES AND DREAMSCAPES: FROM THE SHORT
STORIES OF STEPHEN KING. It was a dream job to work with the Henson organization
again and to work for the first time with Stargate Films, who did a brilliant job producing the visual effects on the project..

Our first production

Romaire Studios enters the world of production with a public service announcement produced
for the Louisiana Black Bear Conservation Committee (BBCC.ORG). DON'T FEED THE BEARS was written and directed by Lee Romaire, and features the time and talent (much of it donated) of many people within and outside
our organization.

For the spot we are creating a bear and a tiny band featuring a fiddle playing frog, a guitar and harmonica playing shrimp and a tuba playing mouse. We're also building an entire swamp set within the studio. Keep an eye out for many more updates on this project.
